Development details
KFH and Newbourne Homes are proud to present EightyFour Ravensbourne Park.Like the many ornate terraces in Ladywell, our new homes offer stability with character. Sympathetic brickwork aligns with neighbouring streets, while a façade with vertical accents is a modern twist and enables the striking building to blend in harmoniously within its parkland setting. All of the flats have generous outside space overlooking Ladywell Fields, one of south London's most beautiful parks. Semi-planted roofs lean into a four-storey apex at contrasting angles, energising the exterior from all sides. Ladywell offers a small village, big city vibe, which is so rarely found outside of the suburbs of the capital. Newcomers will enjoy all the attractions of peaceful residential streets, and the amenities you would want on your doorstep, from barbers to boutiques. One of the best venues for lunch is a picnic blanket. Outside your front door, the wonderful park offers a chance to enjoy green space and stroll to Ladywell Station. The development is a five-minute walk to the nearest stations: Catford or Catford Bridge. Get to London Bridge in 11 minutes, Blackfriars in 23 minutes or Charing Cross in 21 minutes. Both routes offer trains every half an hour. Local area
Ladywell takes its name from a spring. In 1472, it was recorded to bubble up from the slope at the northern end of what is now Ladywell Fields. The ‘lady’ is a reference to St Mary, to whom the local church is dedicated. Springs were often rich in minerals that gave them healing powers, and this one was believed to help those with poor eyesight. Ladywell has a village character – with its own baker, greengrocers, pub and post office – while benefiting from the train station, which whisks you to London Bridge in just nine minutes. With Hilly Fields and Ladywell Fields only five and three minutes’ walk away respectively, the area makes a great base for families and young professionals alike.
