Career success stories - Clement Edewor

Clement's career at KFH has spanned across a number of south east offices, dating back to March 2016. Below he discusses his career journey, leading to his current role as Lettings Branch Director of our new Camberwell office.

With no previous property experience, I started in our brand new Catford office in 2016, which is where I learnt the fundamentals of being a lettings agent. I was immediately hooked on the fast-paced nature of the job – not being sat behind a desk all day and knowing that each day would be different from the last was extremely appealing to me.

The following summer I had the opportunity to transfer to our Peckham Rye branch in SE15. This was a location I knew well having grown up in the surrounding area, so I ceased the opportunity. My six-year spell here came with great personal growth as I was promoted to senior negotiator, followed by assistant branch manager shortly after. As well as great individual success, we managed to achieve several team accolades too during this time. We were fortunate enough to win two company incentive trips – one to Verbier, which unfortunately was cancelled due to Covid, and one to Split, which was such a great experience with some amazing people. The private beach party and the speed boat ride back to the mainland were just a few moments to remember.

Last year I had the exciting opportunity to lead the team at our Forest Hill office as lettings branch director, applying the knowledge I had gained over my eight year tenure at KFH, working under some highly driven branch directors – Natalie O, Victoria Saunders and Andy Parker.

In May it was a great privilege to be appointed as the lettings branch director of our new and vibrant office in Camberwell, with this growth further cementing our position as the number one agent in London; but also highlighting how much trust and investment KFH put into their employees.
