KFH supports Housing for Women in 10k charity run
3rd June, 2015
As one of London’s largest independent property service companies, we're proud to be doing our bit for charity and have signed up a team of more than 90 runners to take part in the London Estate Agents 10k run on Sunday 7 June 2015. Organised by Housing for Women charity, we will be joining a number of rival agents to run a route of 10 kilometres around Regent's Park, in north west London.
We raised £10,000 in aid of the charity at last year’s event and this year we've increased the fundraising target to an even more ambitious £13,000.
Anna Macleod, Head of Marketing at Communications at KFH, comments: “This is our second year taking part in the event. Housing Londoners is at the core of our business, so raising funds for Housing for Women charity really appeals to us as a business.
“Our staff are incredibly supportive of the charity – this year we have nearly twice the amount of people taking part, and we are in the throws of various fundraising initiatives. Our only aim is to exceed last year’s fundraising target and have a brilliant time doing it!”
In 2014, our team ran alongside a host of rival agents from the likes of Winkworth, Stirling Ackroyd and City Realtors, contributing towards the total event target of £15,000.
Our support of this worthy cause is ongoing and there are future plans to help raise more funds and awareness.
