KFH sponsors Dulwich Hamlet FC
6th May, 2016
Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH)’s East Dulwich branch is pleased to announce their sponsorship of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club.
KFH’s East Dulwich branch will focus its support on the youth and junior teams of Dulwich Hamlet FC who have less financial support and lower match attendance than the senior players. The sponsorship includes investing in new shirts for the youth teams and providing financial support to individual players. The branch has also been busy attending matches and advising buyers and vendors to back their local team. The sponsorship will continue into the 2016/2017 season.
Paul Bent, Sales Manager at KFH’s East Dulwich branch, comments: “We were exploring opportunities to support a local worthwhile cause, when one of our vendors came in wearing a pink and blue football scarf. We asked who the club was and when we found out it was Dulwich Hamlet FC and that their core values include diversity, integration and community, we couldn’t wait to get on board. The sponsorship has already got off to a great start and we look forward to continuing the relationship next year.”
The club brings their values to life through their relationship with A.S.P.I.R.E, a football and education programme for 16-18 year olds. The programme was set up in July 2002 to enable young people to pursue their dream of playing professional football, while also enjoying the advantages of furthering their education.
Dulwich Hamlet Football Club was founded in 1893 and is a vital part of the community in East Dulwich. With 3,000 fans visiting every home game, ‘The Rabble’ are one of the most loyal non-league football club followers. The club takes part in community fundraising schemes and schools, including support for the A.S.P.I.R.E youth academy.
Dulwich Hamlet Under 18’s rounded off the season in spectacular style, finishing top in the Kent Youth League North Division.
