Double Silver Win for KFH.co.uk at the Digital Impact Awards 2015

15th October, 2015

Global full-service digital marketing agency Fresh Egg was awarded silver in both the ‘Best Corporate Website’ and ‘Best Use of Digital in the Property Sector’ categories for the successful design, build and migration of a new fully responsive website for, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH), one of London’s largest independent property services companies, in the Digital Impact Awards on 14 October.

The Digital Impact Awards programme was established by Communicate magazine, the UK’s leading publication for corporate communications. The event is in its sixth year and sets the industry-wide benchmark in digital stakeholder engagement. The judging panel includes digital communication experts from some of Europe’s biggest in-house companies, including representatives from ITV Studios, Deutsche Post DHL, KPMG UK and IBM Interactive Experience.

The KFH website relaunched in May 2015 (just six weeks before the judging period), following extensive audience intent analysis around the KFH brand as well as rigorous user-testing at each stage of the design process. Judges commented that the project demonstrated “great research” and a “clear strategy to market KFH as London property experts”.

The clean and beautifully designed, user-centric site is fully responsive, adheres to brand guidelines and is compatible with the latest device types and screen resolutions. Judges agreed that the site is “easy to use and delivers rich content”.

The new site offers enhanced search functionality to enable its users to find properties in a number of ways, from ‘by school’ to ‘by tube/train station’ and Judges commented that the project showed “great innovation” with the introduction of the 'draw search' tool, which allows users to create their own search area on a map.

Anna Macleod, Head of Marketing and Communications at KFH said, “We have a website that delivers to our customers, delivers to our business on a practical level, and is true to our brand and place in the market. We’re incredibly proud of the end result and this recognition is the icing on the cake.”

Fresh Egg’s Commercial Director, Sarah Tunstall, who attended the ceremony, said: “We are delighted to have won the Silver Awards for both categories that we entered, particularly in view of the prestigious shortlists that we were part of. This is testament to the dedication, hard work and collaboration of the Fresh Egg and KFH project teams and their commitment to setting new benchmarks in audience-led design and development.

“We are looking forward to working with KFH to add further enhancements to their site moving forwards.”

Brittany Golob, editor of Communicate magazine, said: “This year’s winners used digital to disrupt traditional communications platforms, changed the way the corporate website is perceived, made political change through digital communications, reached new audiences and new markets.”
